Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide. The role requires strong project management skills and deep knowledge of building automation systems, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

The position involves frequent travel to job sites, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while maintaining client satisfaction and technical compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and automation.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems, commissioning, and risk management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• OSHA 30 certification required or completed within first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Provide monthly project updates, including billing and financial reporting, to senior management.
