As a Geohazard Mitigation Technician working for GSI, your days are varied and the scenery changes often. You will work outdoors in different climates, collaborating with experienced technicians to measure, drill, mix concrete, and build sustainable infrastructure. We specialize in emergency landslide repairs, rockfall mitigation, and grouting, employing cutting-edge design/build and warranty contracting. GSI is a leading firm in geohazard mitigation and bridge rehabilitation across the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our expertise and partnerships enable us to address virtually any slope stability or foundation issue in diverse geological settings.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Experience in soil stabilization, grouting, or foundation mitigation
OR prior construction experience as a carpenter or framer
OR concrete experience such as a finisher, form builder, or shotcrete specialist
OR significant outdoor work experience in a physical, collaborative environment

Work Environment
The work environment includes:
Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Travel: 100% travel within the Eastern US (east of the Mississippi River). The schedule is typically 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
Pay: $20-$23/hr, with potential to earn over $27/hr including overtime in 2023.
