A leading geohazard mitigation firm is seeking a Geohazard Mitigation Technician to work outdoors in varying climates. The role involves mixing, spraying, and operating machinery, requiring travel 100% in the Eastern US. Ideal candidates have construction or soil stabilization experience and a strong work ethic. Geohazard Mitigation Technician at GeoStabilization International (GSI). There is no typical day; you will work outside in a wide variety of climates. We specialize in emergency landslide repairs, rockfall mitigation, and grouting using cutting edge design/build and design/build/warranty contracting. GSI is the leading geohazard mitigation and bridge rehabilitation firm operating throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our expertise, proprietary tools, and worldwide partnerships allow us to repair virtually any slope stability or foundation problem in any geologic setting.
Basic Qualifications
Any prior soil stabilization, grouting, or foundation mitigation experience
OR prior construction industry experience as a carpenter or framer, for example
OR prior concrete experience such as a concrete finisher/form builder or shotcrete experience
OR significant experience working outdoors in a collaborative, physical environment

Travel: 100% traveling in the Eastern US (east of the Mississippi River). Employees are expected to work a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule.
Pay: $20-$23/hr. In 2023, individuals in this role, with overtime, earned the equivalent of over $27/hr.
