Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our field team in Columbia Township, MO. You will finish concrete surfaces with hand and power tools, ensuring quality and adherence to project specs while coordinating with crew members and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of concrete finishing experience, reading blueprints, and strong communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in concrete finishing preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in concrete finishing, with experience in a construction setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Pour and spread concrete to the required thickness and consistency.
• Smooth and level concrete surfaces using trowels and other tools.
• Create concrete forms and frameworks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear as required.
• Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.
• Provide training and supervision to Concrete Finisher I and II personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
