Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Concrete Carpenter/Finisher to perform labor-intensive work on construction sites across the Mountain States region. You will demolish and prepare concrete structures, assist other trades, and contribute to quality finishes in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities include layout, formwork, reinforcement placement, blueprint reading, and site cleanup. Candidates should have 5+ years of concrete experience, tool proficiency, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of concrete construction experience or knowledge.
• Experience using a variety of hand, pneumatic, electric, and motor-powered tools and equipment.
• Some experience operating heavy equipment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to climb ladders and/or operate manlifts.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures specific to labor work, including OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foremen in layout and set elevations for new formwork, place and tie structural reinforcement, prepare for concrete placements.
• Operate hand and power tools, surveying equipment and finish tools for concrete placement.
• Read and understand construction blueprints; assist in scaffolding erection and bracing.
• Help prep and clean construction site and manage material loads.
• Signal Equipment Operators to facilitate alignment and movement of equipment; restock supplies.
