Job summary

A communication technology company is seeking a Communications Electronics Installation Technician to support the installation of communication systems across the United States. This role involves 100% travel, installation, and integration of communication facilities, and working closely with FAA personnel. Candidates should have technical experience and be able to handle physical demands. The position offers an hourly rate of $20.00 to $49.00, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance.
• Experience in generating FAA documentation including FRDF.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test VHF and UHF radios.
• Mount and install antennas and support equipment.
• Interface with FAA personnel during installations.
• Ensure compliance with engineering diagrams.

Skills

Installation and maintenance of VHF and UHF communication equipment

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints

Familiarity with FAA National Airspace communication systems

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Education

Associate’s Degree or two-year technical certification
