Job summary

Ables Inc. is hiring for an electrical foreman responsible for installation, alterations, additions and repairs of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will lead a crew, read schematics, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and company policy.

The role requires four years of electrical experience, one year foreman experience, and the ability to work with diverse teams and schedules. Moderate travel within the Ables service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Four years of electrical experience with supervision duties.
• Ability to read drawings, prints and schematics.
• Positively identify colors of wires and bend conduit by hand.
• Capable of using all power tools and heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain open communication with the Electrical Department Manager.
• Schedule and complete repairs and installations according to company priorities.
• Install new residential, commercial, and industrial service equipment.
• Perform commercial & industrial troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Performs accurate daily time sheets.
• Maintain and ensure the safe operating condition of assigned equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance and repair in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Supervise Electrical Contractors on large projects as assigned by Electrical Department Manager.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
