Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Commercial Carpenter in Kaukauna, WI. The Traveling Commercial Carpenter performs essential carpentry tasks on commercial construction sites, focusing on both structural and finishing work. This role requires a skilled tradesperson capable of reading blueprints, executing precise layouts, and traveling to various project locations to ensure high-quality builds and renovations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25 to $40 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project requirements and material needs.
• Install metal and wood framing for commercial walls, ceilings, and flooring systems.
• Construct and set forms for concrete foundations, footings, and structural walls.
• Install interior and exterior finishes including doors, frames, hardware, cabinetry, and trim.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely, including saws, drills, and pneumatic nailers.
• Perform layout and measurements for partitions and structural components with high accuracy.
• Install drywall, acoustic ceiling grids, and specialized commercial fixtures as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure work is completed on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial carpentry (3-5 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and technical construction drawings.
• Knowledge of commercial building codes, materials, and construction methods.
• Demonstrated ability to use industrial carpentry tools and equipment safely.
• Willingness to travel to various job site locations as required by project schedules.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a larger construction crew.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, or aerial lifts.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise cutting and fitting.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and noisy construction environments.
• Must be aware of and adhere to OSHA safety standards for construction sites.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 to $40 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
