Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.
• Two years of prior industrial electrical, heavy commercial electrical construction, or structured cabling experience preferred.
• Eligible for a merit-shop/open-shop electrical or communications apprenticeship program preferred.
• TDLR Apprentice Electrician License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of low‑voltage and communications infrastructure systems
• Support the installation of structured cabling, communication pathways, and related infrastructure in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and installation documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all company and project safety requirements
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other job‑related equipment
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, journeymen, and fellow apprentices to meet project schedules and quality expectations
• Follow all company policies, customer requirements, and project‑specific access procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project completion
