Job summary

P&E Constructors, a leading ESOP mechanical and electrical contractor, seeks a Project Engineer for a major data center project in Texas. You will coordinate structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage systems, while supporting scheduling, ITPs, field execution, and documentation control across nationwide assignments.

Candidates should have a BS in engineering, 5+ years in project or field engineering, and experience with Procore and data-center standards.

Responsibilities

• Support initiation and execution for communication infrastructure on the project.
• Manage project documentation in Procore including RFIs and submittals.
• Review submittals for fiber/copper, cabling layouts, and labeling standards.
• Coordinate field engineering, progress tracking, and quality inspections.
• Assist with NCR tracking and system turnover documentation.
