Job summary

ATS is seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. You will identify parts, source materials, and guide customer teams in optimization and reliability efforts across multiple machine tools and automation integrations.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, plus the ability to travel extensively (local, national, international).

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with technical training.
• Associates degree with technical focus plus substantial industry experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Able to use basic hand tools and programming software as appropriate.
• Extensive travel required (local, national, international).

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Identifies parts and supplies; evaluates alternatives to improve cost or reliability.
• Directs customers in maintenance optimization, reliability and preventative processes.
• Operates multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may weld.
• Creates maintenance standards and instructions for equipment upgrades and automation integrations.
• Follows safety policies and documents work in service reports.
