Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. in Phoenix seeks a Traveling Laboratory Technician to test soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt for construction projects across Arizona. You will collect samples, conduct tests, and maintain accurate records.

Candidates should have 3+ years of lab testing experience, knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO methods, and a valid driver's license. Training is available; travel is required; safety and quality come first.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of soils/aggregates/concrete/asphalt lab testing preferred.
• Familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO testing procedures.
• ATTI/ASTM/AASHTO Soils & Aggregate certification preferred.
• Training available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt per standards.
• Record, calculate, and report test results accurately.
• Maintain lab equipment and QC documentation.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and assist with lab operations.
