Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician in Phoenix, Arizona, responsible for testing soils, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt materials. The position involves conducting lab tests, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with ASTM and AASHTO standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience with laboratory testing procedures and certifications are preferred. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and/or asphalt materials preferred.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and industry-standard laboratory testing procedures.
• Training may be provided for qualified candidates with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
• Conduct various standard laboratory testing procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality control documentation.
• Ensure testing compliance with applicable standards.
