Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fargo, ND is seeking a Class B CDL Equipment Operator / Truck Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at our customer sites; some of the vehicles operated include Vacuum Trailer, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and high-powered vacuum loaders. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

This position travels initially as we build our area book of business.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical assessment may be required by position.
• Compliance with respirator facial hair standards per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Operate a variety of Class B trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Follow DOT, state and federal regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
