Premise Inc. is seeking a motivated Civil Technician 1 / Construction Craft Labor Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level role supports skilled trades and contributes to construction projects, performing hands-on labor to help complete work on time and within budget.

You'll assist journeyworker tradespeople, help move materials, prepare sites, and operate basic tools while following safety guidelines. Willingness to travel and learn is essential, with potential per diem per company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Ability to adhere to safety standards and practices.
• Position may require up to 100% travel and working at various locations as business needs dictate.
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic construction tasks such as racking and panel assembly.
• Assist journeyworker tradespeople (laborers, masons, and operators).
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, temporary structures.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE at all times.
• Perform basic measurements and calculations.
• Receive training and direction from Foreman or Journeyworker.
• Follow directions and complete tasks timely; communicate delays.
• Other duties as assigned.
