Job summary

Canteen is hiring a Chef Manager in New Jersey to lead the culinary and food service operations for a contract foodservice program. This hands-on role oversees inventory, purchasing, menu development, and cost controls while focusing on local sourcing and sustainability.

The ideal candidate has HACCP knowledge, at least three years of culinary management experience, and familiarity with P&L accountability. ServSafe certification is a plus.

• Minimum three years of culinary management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food trends, quality, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
