Job summary

Broadcast Management Group in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Utility Driver/Technician (UDT) to operate BMG’s vehicle fleet and transport broadcast gear nationwide. After training, the UDT will also load/unload equipment, assist with on-site production setup and master control tasks.

Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks and hold a CDL license.
Experience with loading/unloading broadcast equipment and on-site setup.
Willingness to travel frequently across the USA.
Excellent organizational and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive BMG trucks, vans, trailers to production locations around the country.
Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and set-up of productions.
Maintain vehicle fleet, keep tags and registrations up to date.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations of equipment.
Assist with equipment organization in the Broadcast Operation Center warehouse.
Support production and engineering teams on projects for quality control.
Write a weekly report summarizing activities and goals each Friday by 5pm.
