Job summary

United Site Services in Barhamsville, VA is seeking a Utility Technician to operate Class A/B/C vehicles in support of our service operations. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, service portable restrooms, holding tanks, and assist with routing and paperwork, while upholding safety standards.

Eligible candidates have at least two years of commercial driving experience and a valid CDL or non-commercial license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on routing information.
• Services portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites according to guidelines.
• Notifies management of issues encountered on back-up routes.
