Job summary

Advocate Health, in partnership with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, seeks a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support adult patient care across the Triad area. The role involves independent scheduling and collaboration with physicians to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Travel to Winston-Salem, Advance, Kernersville, High Point, Greensboro & Asheboro is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited FNP or PA Program.
• Licensed by the NC Board of Nursing or NC Medical Board.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Current American Heart Assoc. BLS and/or ACLS.
• One year of experience as a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant in primary care, urgent care or emergency medicine.
• DOT certification desired

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise, and/or conduct complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in adult care.
• Provide direct patient care with physician supervision as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule lab studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Assist in teaching students, residents and interns in complex techniques.
• Participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
