Job summary

Trescal is seeking a Calibration Technician for a travel-based role anchored around the Dallas area with a Mobile Calibration Laboratory. You will calibrate medium to high level test and measurement equipment at customer sites and in fixed labs, traveling to serve the Central US.

The position requires a minimum of two years in calibration, technical or military PMEL training, and familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025. Strong troubleshooting and data sheet documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have military PMEL/TMDE training or technical associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
• Experience calibrating several disciplines of test & measurement equipment including Physical Dimensional; DC/Low frequency; RF Microwave.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on medium to high level test and measurement instrumentation.
• Calibrations will be performed on-site at customer locations in one of our Mobile Calibration laboratories and as needed, in a fixed site calibration lab.
• Travel to service our customers in the Central US. Travel might be by air or ground transportation depending on the customer location.

We have a great opportunity for a well-rounded and highly motivated Calibration Technician to join our team. This is a traveling position based around the Dallas area with a Mobile Calibration Laboratory. Additional travel outside the area is typically in the state of Texas and the adjoining states. In This Role You Will

And We Would Prefer

• Knowledge of ANSI / NCSL Z-540 and ISO 9000
• Experience using Calibration software such as: LabView, SureCal, Met/Cal, etc.
