Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)

Location: Tacoma, WA

Hourly Rate: $30.00- $40.00

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of hospital biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Tacoma area.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of hospital biomedical equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies
• Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
