Job summary

A construction safety firm located in Jacksonville is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee project safety programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities include assisting with project orientation, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining safety records. Candidates should have at least 3 years of safety experience in building construction, OSHA 30-hour accreditation, and strong management and communication skills. This is a full-time traveling position.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of safety experience or a combination of education and multiple years of experience in building construction.
• Must have OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Conduct weekly safety inspections.
• Establish jobsite orientation for new employees.
• Facilitate training for site personnel based on safety standards.
