Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced systems specialist/technician to travel to data center construction sites and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations and commissioning of BAS/BMS systems with minimal supervision in Nevada.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and control issues, complete project documentation, and contribute to building performance across client sites. This role requires 70-100% travel, with lighter travel if local to OH, NV, or WI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to travel to client sites roughly 70-100% of the time. If local to OH, NV, WI, travel will be lighter.
• Familiarity with one or more BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ALC, Delta, Distech, Honeywell, or similar)
• Experience with Data center construction projects

Job Details

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

As an experienced systems specialist/technician on our team, you will be responsible for traveling to data center construction sites and conducting preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and commissioning of systems with minimal supervision, ensuring proper functioning and performance. Tasks include point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, and completing required project documentation.

Must Have

• 3+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience
• Willingness to travel to client sites roughly 70-100% of the time. If local to OH, NV, WI, travel will be lighter.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS/BMS systems: Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ALC, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other
• Experience with Data center construction projects
