Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Backhoe Operator to support utility construction projects across Wisconsin. You will safely operate backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows and related heavy equipment, digging around underground utilities and supporting crew with basic labor tasks.

Ideal candidates have field experience around utilities, the ability to train others, and a willingness to travel away from home for extended periods. CDL preferred and a commitment to safety are required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated field experience with digging around utilities.
  • Experience operating backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe.
  • Knowledge of utility construction procedures and print reading.

Responsibilities

  • Operate backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow or track hoe safely.
  • Excavate around existing utilities and assist with labor tasks.
  • Provide training and guidance to coworkers learning to operate equipment.
  • Drive tow vehicle and transport equipment as needed.
