Job summary
ProAutomated in Nashville is seeking travel-focused professionals to join our field automation team. You’ll support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and collaborate with engineers to keep projects moving in diverse North American locations.
Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location and experience. We offer paid training, per diem, travel bonuses, and comprehensive benefits as you grow with a team that values transparency and hands-on problem solving.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or related field required; 3+ years in automation/engineering.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming and networking.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home on rotation.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
- Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
- Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to maintain progress.
- Travel on rotation schedules (5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off) to various locations.
