Job summary

Freyssinet USA is seeking a Traveling Assistant Superintendent to support field operations across active project sites in VA/NC. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate daily on-site tasks, and help maintain safety, quality, and project documentation.

This role requires hands-on experience in construction or field operations, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed. A high school diploma and OSHA certification are preferred along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, field operations, or crew leadership.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills with crews, subcontractors, and management.
• Dependable, organized, and adaptable to field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily on-site operations and scheduling.
• Promote safety and ensure field personnel follow protocols.
• Support coordination with subcontractors and crews.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and material tracking.
• Assist in planning site logistics and materials storage.
