ABOUT THE ROLE

Become a Traveling Assistant Store Manager for Uniform Advantage / UA Brands, overseeing our 8 South FL stores between Broward and Miami-Dade counties!

We help nurses, therapists, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals feel comfortable and look great as they work miracles, large and small.

This is your chance to be hero-adjacent: think big on strategic goals and manage the day-to-day operations of our retail stores. Build relationships with customers and your team, provide exceptional service, generate sales, and grow the business.

  • Full-timers work 40 hours per week
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Go above and beyond to serve the customer
  • Be a terrific team leader: motivate, coach, and mentor; set and communicate goals; recognize great work and identify areas for improvement—always with fairness and consistency
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and travel to various South FL store locations to ensure sales goals are met
  • Manage daily operations: oversee employees, keep the store clean and stocked
  • Assist with controlling expenses and following Loss Prevention directives
  • Identify and communicate business concerns to the Store Manager and be an active problem solver
  • Travel locally to visit key accounts, find new customers, and make bank deposits
OUR MUST HAVES
  • Supervisory skills including strong organizational and professional communication skills
  • Self-starter: detail-oriented and eager to follow through promptly
  • Multitasker: handle multiple customers and projects simultaneously
  • Windows savvy: training on internal POS will be provided
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel knowledge a plus), 40 wpm typing speed
  • Flexibility to accommodate opening or closing shifts
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and online assessment
  • A valid driver’s license and active auto insurance
IT'S A PHYSICAL JOB
  • Travel as needed throughout 8 South FL store locations between Miami-Dade and Broward County
  • Walk and stand for long periods
  • Use hands and arms to reach for and handle merchandise, boxes, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds
  • Implement safety measures to protect staff and customers, including COVID-19 protocols
  • Occasionally work offsite at popup stores at client hospitals or offices
