The role includes loading/unloading materials, using hand and power tools, directing traffic, assisting operators, and helping with minor equipment maintenance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel/work out of town.
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, maintain a good attendance record and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction tasks and operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Gather tools needed for the day.
• Deliver water to the rollers and plate compactors.
• Sweep and rake.
• Use shovels, rakes, brooms, and other hand tools.
• Direct traffic as needed.
• Assist operator and minor equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
