Job summary

Blythe Construction is seeking skilled and unskilled Asphalt Laborers (Yard Man) to support paving projects. The role involves raking asphalt, material handling, and operating select equipment. Candidates should be able to follow directions and communicate effectively with the job-site team.

The position requires physical endurance, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed. Prior work experience on construction sites is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Clear ability to follow work directions and communicate with site supervisors.
• Ability to understand safety procedures and manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rake asphalt and assist with material handling.
• Dump materials from trucks and assist with cleaning and maintenance.
• Operate basic machinery like tractor broom when needed.
• Shovel, sweep, and move materials with a wheelbarrow.
• Work nights and weekends when required.
