Job description

A successful Aerial Lineman shall access specific areas to install, maintain, and/or repair a customer's telecommunications equipment. The position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction, familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each. The candidate must be able to use cable placement equipment and tools, identify and troubleshoot problems.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 100% TRAVEL.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate, through training or experience, the ability to work safely, with or without supervision
• Work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods
• Lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment
• Exhibit excellent manual dexterity
• Follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
• Understand and operate equipment including aerial lift devices, lashers, and hand tools

Responsibilities:

• Perform low and high-level labor-intensive tasks and operate construction equipment
• Complete daily production reports
• Use hand tools, ladders, and equipment to complete projects
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of related work experience; coax experience preferred
• Proficient in using hand tools and construction equipment (wrenches, drills, ladders, etc.)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle record check
