Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on a 14-week travel assignment. This third shift (nights) role offers $80/hr and requires an RN with 2+ years L&D experience and Virginia license.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, admitting, medications, family communication, and circulating in the OR. ACLS/BLS/NRP certifications are required or in progress; fetal monitoring training preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree required: ADN, BSN or MSN.
• Current Virginia RN license to practice.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required; fetal monitoring training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and admitting patients.
• Rounding checks and medication administration.
• Communicate with family members about care.
• Ensure overall patient care and safety; circulating in the OR as needed.
