Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the RN Traveler Temp position on their 4 East Med/Surg floor.

Night Shift
$65 per hour

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) performs competent nursing care based on the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also upholds professional standards of ethics, communication, collaboration, and evidence-based practice, possessing the clinical knowledge to meet specific clinical area requirements.

Qualifications:

• BSN or MSN preferred
• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
• Emergency Care - ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire
• Oncology Care - ONS/ONCC or approved Chemotherapy & Biotherapy course within 6 months
• Women's Care - NRP within 6 months
• Pediatrics - PALS within 6 months

Education:

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in Nursing required

Licensure:

• Virginia or Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:

• Minimum two years of current acute care hospital experience
