Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a day-shift role requiring 5+ years of X-Ray experience and active NYS license with ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Radiology department in a 410-bed community hospital


• Day shift, 8-hour shifts (8am-4pm)


• Weekend coverage required every 4th weekend


• No on-call requirements


• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience required


• Active NYS license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)


• ARRT (R) certification required


• Active BLS (AHA) certification required


• EPIC EMR experience required


• Level 1 trauma hospital experience strongly preferred


• Previous or current travel experience strongly preferred


• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance


• Valid driver's license required

Additional Information

• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged


• Completion of Verbal De-escalation training (Welle or CPI) required for all new and returning staff as of 1/1/2024


• Requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted


• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required


• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility or residing in specific nearby NY counties may be considered for the assignment
