Duly Health Westmont in Westmont, IL is seeking a X-Ray Technician, C-Arm Tech (PRN) to perform fluoroscopic procedures across age groups under physician supervision. This role requires radiologic credentials, ARRT certification, and IL licensure, with emphasis on patient comfort and safety.

You will handle nursing, lab, administrative duties as needed and collaborate with the ASC Director. Evening/weekend hours may be required, and travel between facilities may be necessary to support nearby

Description

JOB TITLE: X-Ray Technician, C-Arm Tech (PRN)

Salary Range: $26.50 - $40.50 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs fluoroscopic procedures for the treatment of patients of all age groups, utilizing the guidelines of the professional radiology practice standards. Help patients feel comfortable during the entire process. Perform selected nursing, lab, administrative, and clerical duties that assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management under the direction of a Physician, PA, or NP. These duties are delegated in relation to the individual's degree of training, in accordance with the objectives and policies of the organization and respective state laws governing such action and activities.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: ASC Director

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Current X-Ray Technology certificate or license from a program approved in Illinois.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :

• A current certification or license in X-Ray Technology from the state of Illinois.
• An active ARRT certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques; regional and gross anatomy of the human body; standardized radiologic clinical procedures; thorough knowledge of the hazards of radiologic materials and the safety precautions required; the operation and care of modern radiologic equipment; and the ordering and storing of supplies. Ability to communicate effectively at a level required for successful job performance; administer emergency aid for shock; prepare solution used in processing x-ray film and process film; keep simple records, file film correctly, and compile reports; follow directions; analyze situations accurately and take effective action; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Knowledge of email systems such a Microsoft Outlook sufficient to communicate with both internal and external contacts.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel sufficient to create simple documents such as memos and reports, enter data, copy or cut and paste data and print results.
• Knowledge of WebMD and HST system sufficient to perform review and data entry preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to be on your feet for long periods and lift or turn disabled patients.
• Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
• Ability to concentrate for periods of up to four hours
• Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone
• Ability to use computer keyboard and to view a computer monitor

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal busy office environment with much telephone work. For the majority of our positions this would be a climate controlled office environment during normal business hours. Occasional evening and/or weekend work.
