Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Imaging - X-ray specialist for a travel assignment in Chapel Hill, NC. Candidates must have a degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and at least 1 year of X-ray experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R).
• State license for radiology technologists in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain.
• 1+ year of recent experience performing X-ray and imaging duties in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and ensure quality imaging results.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures using appropriate shielding and techniques.
• Uphold patient safety and privacy, following established hospital guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary care teams to facilitate effective patient care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Complete required documentation and communicate findings as needed.
