Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment in Chapel Hill, NC. You will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, follow departmental protocols, and collaborate with a diverse team.

ARRT and BLS are required; you will troubleshoot equipment, manage PACS/RIS/HIS workflows, and mentor colleagues. This role offers flexible scheduling, housing and meals stipends, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing assignments.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Demonstrated expertise in General Diagnostic Radiology.
• In-depth familiarity with X-ray protocols, departmental policy and procedures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and imaging issues.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Produce consistent, high-quality x-ray images adhering to rigorous standards.
• Monitor and maintain image management equipment, swiftly reporting any issues.
• Efficiently transmit and manage studies using PACS, RIS, CIS, and HIS.
• Critique, orient, and save all pertinent images; ensure accurate patient and examination data.
• Review patient orders and demographics to guarantee procedure accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Assess patient condition, ensure ID and safety verification, and provide compassionate care.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring patient and team safety.
