We're looking for a Travel X-ray/Radiology Technologist to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Kentucky, United States.

Pay Rate: $2300-$2600 Weekly gross (before taxes)

Role:

The successful candidate will perform examinations of patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to protocols.
2. Locate and record internal body elements, identify anomalies.
3. Adjust equipment and calm patients to ensure quality tests.
4. Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
5. Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
6. Review tests with peers and physicians.
7. Inform physicians of preliminary findings as needed.
8. Distribute test results to physicians and providers.
9. Prepare diagnostic information for interpretation.
10. Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data.
11. Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
12. Recognize malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
13. Instruct patients and explain procedures.
14. Follow hospital and departmental policies.
15. Maintain equipment per Infection Control procedures.
16. Continue education to maintain technical competency.
17. Administer contrast agents under supervision.
18. Maintain current Permits to Practice in all performed states.
19. Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues.
20. Notify team of service needs.
21. Follow quality assurance and confidentiality protocols.
22. Perform additional duties as required.
