Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel assignment in Simi Valley, California. You will provide wound care, post-surgical support, and routine treatments for adult patients in a dynamic clinical setting.

Active RN license, BLS, and 18 months of acute care or wound care experience are required. This travel position offers weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive benefits through a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg or Wound Care setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient’s health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and treatment team.
