Job summary
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Lander, Wyoming. The role includes OB/LDRP duties and neonatal/postpartum care as part of the core responsibilities.
Active WY or Compact RN license is required at submission; certifications through AHA (ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN) are expected. Minimum 2 years OB/L&D experience, and may float to other units as census requires.
Qualifications
- Active WY RN license or Wyoming Compact RN license required at submission.
- Certifications must be through the American Heart Association (ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN).
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in OB, L&D, LDRP, nursery or postpartum.
Responsibilities
- Medication administration
- Specimen collection, clinical treatments
- Patient assessments, care planning, implementation & evaluation
- Monitor and communicate patient condition changes
- Assist with ADLs, hygiene, nutrition & ambulation
- Coordinate patient transfers, discharge planning & interdisciplinary care
- Provide patient/family education adapted to age, culture & condition
- Advocate for physical and emotional well-being of patients
- Circulate during C-Sections
- Attend deliveries & assist physicians as needed
- Post-surgical recovery care for OB patients
- Neonatal assessment immediately after delivery
- Fetal monitoring competency maintenance
- Participation in STABLE certification if offered
- Float to other units as needed with limited scope
