Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking an Operations Director to own the operational and financial success of a major function, market, or segment. Translate strategy into executable plans and lead scalable processes that improve efficiency, quality, safety, and growth.

Will manage labor, equipment, and resources; monitor performance metrics; oversee budgeting and forecasting; and partner with senior leadership to drive revenue and margin targets.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of technical field experience and/or multi-regional project management experience.
• 3-5+ years of operations leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel nationwide is required.

• Drive financial discipline and performance improvements to achieve revenue and margins.
• Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Act as a key operational leader in planning, decision-making, and market growth initiatives.
• Lead a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers; drive people management and performance.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
• Own and execute team KPIs to contribute to department scorecard.
• Uphold safety culture and ZERO safety commitment throughout the organization.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own operational and financial success of an entire function, market, or operational segment

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cost control, and operational financial planning
• Drive financial discipline and operational performance improvements to achieve revenue and margin targets
• Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and long-term financial objectives
• Act as a key operational leader in organizational planning, decision-making, and market growth initiatives
• Serves as a strategic leader of a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers, responsible for people management, production, performance, quality, training, etc.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
• Own, drive, and execute team KPI’s to contribute to the overall department and team scorecard success
• Upholds ADB’s safety culture, leads by example, and drives a philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organization
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, copiers, and cell phones
• This role operates out of an environmentally controlled office environment
• When working on site, will be required to wear common PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hart hat, and safety-toed boots

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• 5-7+ years of technical field experience and/or multi-regional project management experience required

This position pays between $135,000 and $220,000 base and is based on the candidate's skillset and experience.
