Job summary

Pro Mechanical Services is seeking Travel Welders for a contract with a manufacturer in Canton, Ohio. You must live 100 miles outside of Canton to qualify for travel pay and per diem. Welders must have 5+ years of MIG experience, pass a box pressure/MIG test, and read prints. OT and weekends possible; 3rd shift; weekly pay.

Position requires setup of machines, use of cutting tools, and operation of forklifts and overhead crane, with strict safety and paperwork compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work travel requirements and OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding on various materials as assigned.
• Set up machines based on task details.

Job description

Pro Mechanical Services Co. is seeking Travel Welders. This is a contract position with a manufacturer in Canton, Ohio. You must live 100 miles outside of Canton, Ohio to qualify for the travel pay rate and per diem. Welders must be able to pass a box pressure test and fabricate according to prints. Candidates must have 5+ years of proven on the job experience in this field. Pay is $35 an hour and $120 a day per diem.

• Shift: 3rd shift available.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday working 8 hours per day and some weekends.
• Weekly Pay!

• Must keep workstation clean and organized.
• 5+ years of MIG experience.

• Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
