I-2-I Solutions is seeking detail-oriented professionals to perform water sampling at Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities across Southern California—in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Loma Linda, and San Diego—part of the VISN 22 Desert Pacific Healthcare Network. Technicians collect water samples used to verify water quality across multiple building water systems per VA directives.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Southern California, including overnight as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work independently in hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect water samples across multiple system types (Potable water, Legionella).
• Measure and document field readings (temperature, residual disinfectant/chlorine, pH).
• Label, package, and prepare samples for overnight shipment to the laboratory.
• Maintain chain-of-custody documentation for every sample.
• Coordinate with facility staff and follow PPE and infection prevention requirements.
