Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for an 8-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD, focusing on Echo and Vascular studies. The role offers competitive pay, full benefits, and a supportive clinical team to travelers.

Responsibilities include performing high-quality scans, prepping patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnostics and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient for accurate imaging and ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and functionality.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per regulatory standards.
