Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks specialists for a 100% travel, short-term assignment (4–6 weeks, 40–72 hours per week) to maintain valves and control devices at client sites.

You will install, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment, following nuclear safety norms; previous Navy nuclear or equivalent training is valued. High school diploma and five years’ hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of hands-on experience in general valve maintenance, calibration, and testing.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools, electrical instruments, and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to the On-Site Manager.
• Install, repair, replace, and calibrate valves and control devices; conduct post-maintenance testing.
• Test and calibrate instrumentation and perform leak testing and alignment checks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment; support field troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Document tasks and daily field activity logs; ensure safety and compliance with QA standards.
