Responsible for providing high-quality service across a wide range of general financial services. This role involves sales and servicing of all credit union products and services, with a focus on building relationships and expanding EVERWISE CREDIT UNION’s wallet share. The employee will float between designated service centers and support multiple branch locations as needed.
This position supports Everwise branches in the following markets: Avon, Greencastle, Crawfordsville, Park 100, and Pike Plaza.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain a high level of membership in accordance with the EVERWISE CREDIT UNION Service Expectations.
- Perform a variety of member service functions accurately and timely, including cash handling, financial transactions, account maintenance, opening new accounts, operating an ITM (Interactive Teller Machine), and supporting MCC (Member Contact Center).
- Maintain confidentiality regarding member account information.
- Meet or exceed referral and sales goals by identifying member needs, asking open-ended questions, promoting products, or referring members to appropriate partners.
- Assist in outbound calling efforts, including updating prospect lists, following up with members, and participating in call campaigns.
- Perform additional retail functions such as drawer audits, member account maintenance, and vault duties as needed.
- Comply with policies related to check cashing, cash control, and transaction approvals, including regulations like Reg CC, SAR, CTR, Check handling, Reg D, BSA, etc.
- Volunteer for special projects within the scope of responsibilities.
- Resolve problems through research, open-ended questions, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support the growth and development of the Credit Union.

- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Six months of retail sales and/or cash handling experience or equivalent preferred.
Base pay: Starting at $19.25/hour plus a $1.50/hour travel premium. Pay depends on experience and skills.
