Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer with ARDMS OB/GYN and NT certification for a high-risk pregnancy clinic in Spokane, WA. 2+ years OB/GYN sonography experience required.

You will perform detailed ultrasounds, assist with amniocentesis and CVS, and work 5x8 hour days with no nights or weekends, using GE ultrasound, PACS, and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years OB/GYN sonography in outpatient setting.
• BLS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and NT certifications required.
• License required if applicable; Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Proficient in first–third trimester imaging and fetal assessments.
• Experience with high-risk OB, transvaginal pelvic imaging.
• Comfortable assisting amniocentesis and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient high‑risk clinic across 6 rooms at one facility and 2 rooms at a sister hospital.
• Perform 7–9 detailed ultrasounds daily and report findings to 3 MFM physicians.
• 1:1 patient ratio with high‑risk maternal/fetal patients.
• Assist with amniocentesis, amnio reduction, CVS and PUBS.
• Fetal echo imaging required; uses GE ultrasound, PACS, and Epic EMR.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM; no nights, weekends, or on‑call.
• May float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Must be available for 3 proposed interview times including time zone.
• Scrubs must be any color with no prints; first-time travelers accepted.
• Former staff must wait 3 months before returning as travelers; live outside 50‑mile radius.
• Candidates must disclose prior health system work history, location and dates.
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years required before start.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; post-submission requests may not be granted.
• Travelers may float between sister facilities near the contracted location.
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within 50‑mile radius.
