Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience and involves performing exams, preparing patients, and collaborating with Radiologists to ensure accurate images.

The US Tech will work 40 hours per week, with daytime shifts, and must hold BLS and ARDMS certifications (RDMS OB/GYN where required) with state licensing as applicable. Travel pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience
• BLS, ARDMS Certification
• State licensing when required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures
• Operate ultrasound equipment to identify areas of concern
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with procedures
• Report abnormalities to medical staff
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report issues
• Record scan results and write reports
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system
