Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ob/Gyn Sonographer in Boston, MA for a 13-week assignment. The role focuses on performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound studies, ensuring accurate images, and coordinating with physicians for interpretation.

Candidates must have ARDMS and BLS credentials and any required state licensing, plus at least one year of experience. The job offers 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts, with a travel package including a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• One year of ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required; state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform obstetric/gynecologic ultrasound examinations.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with procedures.
• Identify abnormalities and report to medical staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Document results and write reports.
• Maintain patient records and use PACS system.
