Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a Springfield, Missouri assignment. The role requires 1 year of ultrasound experience, ARDMS and BLS certifications, and state licensing where applicable.

You will perform ultrasound exams, educate patients, and coordinate with radiologists during procedures. The position involves 12-hour night shifts, a 13-week duration, and a 36-hour work week as a travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS and BLS certifications required.
• State licensing as required by the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family about procedures.
• Identify and observe areas of concern with ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff immediately.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report failures.
• Document scans and write reports with results.
• Keep accurate patient records and operate McKesson PACS.
