Job summary

American Traveler is currently seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a night shift travel assignment in Maine. The ideal candidate will hold RDMS-AB and RVT certifications and have at least 2 years of experience across general, vascular, and pediatric imaging.

The role requires an active license if applicable, EPIC EMR familiarity, and a valid driver's license for consideration. References are required.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
RDMS-AB and RVT certification required.

Responsibilities

Radiology Ultrasound department serving ED and in-patient populations.
General, vascular, and pediatric imaging.
Rotating night position with 9-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Shift hours from 11:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
Uses EPIC EMR.
25-mile float policy between facilities as needed.
Provide sonography services to ED and in-patient populations.
Local candidates considered, though local bill rates apply within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility.
Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions.
RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract.
